SEARCHING BISON
FOR
MEDIA LIBRARY MATERIAL
Media Library materials can be found through BISON (Buffalo Information
System Online) - the University at Buffalo Libraries' Computerized
system.
To begin, go to the Libraries' website: http://ublib.buffalo.edu

Click on the “Catalog” tab at top of page,

And then click on the “Connect to the BISON Catalog” button.

Click on “Advanced” in the blue box at the top of the page, under “Basic Search.”

In the box next to “All fields” enter thekeywordword that relates to the topic you are interested in and on the right side of the page under “Type:” select “Film/Video” and then click on the “Go” button at the bottom of the page.

Click on the title of the film/video for details.

The location of each film/video is listed under “Location/Call No.” on the right side of the page. Titles in the Media Library collection are listed as: INSTRUCTIONAL TECH SERVICES. Videos are listed as “does not circulate;” however, they can be borrowed by teaching faculty. All requests should have at least 1 business day notice for pickup and at least 2 business days notice for delivery to a Technology, Video Equipped, or Projection Ready Classroom.
